If it weren’t for my mother in law, my father in law would definitely be a hoarder. I’ve talked before about the myriad vehicles he keeps around here. Yesterday a rollback arrived and dropped this off:

‘64? F350 Custom Cab

If you look closely, you’ll see a very similar old Ford tow truck behind the barn. And one of the Grand Caravans he bought at auction a few months ago and parked back in the woods.

This truck has its transmission sitting on the ground next to it. But it gives me ideas.

Like a Cummins/5speed swap with a custom dually pickup bed. Paint the wheels yellow...

And maybe toss a 5th wheel in the bed...

I googled 64 f350 and found this exact truck:

Instead it’ll sit for a few years without anything happening to it.

I was thinking more like take fenders from a step side pickup:

And put them on a fleet side bed:

Which could look awesome if it were done right.

This is a dream of mine to get something like this, then bag it, swap in some V8 and a flat bed possibly. Just for cruising the weekends.

Can’t find pics of a Ford but here is a 65 Chevy that was turned into a dually with stepwise flares... Looks Awesome!!! & I’m sure it’d be bitch in on the ford as well

YES! with the Cummins and 5spd it would be awesome! Idk why, but I feel like dark blue steel wheels would look really nice with the yellow paint that it has.
